Chocolate Danger
Chocolate is Toxic to Pets because it contains Caffeine & Theobromine:
Xylitol (sometimes call birch bark extract or wood sugar) is becoming more popular as a sweetener in candies and gum.
Caffeine & Theobromine, the two substances that can be harmful to dogs and cats. Signs to look for if you think you Pet has injested a toxic amount of chocolate!
Xylitol is extremely toxic to dogs. Small amounts can cause low blood sugar, seizures, liver failure and even death.

We can forget how often we might have Chocolate around, Christmas, Valentines Day, Easter, Halloween, a Birthday or just a special gift can all be wonderful treats for us. But dangerous for our furry family members.

- 5 to 10 lbs = 1.42 oz
- 20 to 40 lbs = 5.6 oz
- 50 to 120 lbs = 2.15 oz
of Milk Chocolate, dark Chocolate is even a higher danger.
